These photos were taken by the wonderful Nicola Lewis, who documented the first recordings for the new album[s] done in the Music Room in the Tyrone Guthrie Center. You'll notice that Ian features heavily due to his surfer-dude beard. No, there was not a load of Guinness imbibed contrary to the evidence in the photos. The pints were merely props and I'm unanimous in that.
On a small point of information, some of the photos were taken in McGinn's pub in Newbliss. Annie runs the place single-handedly and is an institution unto herself. Great pints and wonderful conversation along with the ever present Superser to heat and gas us at the same time.
